Dr. Rajkumar Korra is the founder of Lalitha Chest & Skin Hospital and one of the most experienced interventional pulmonologists in the Karimnagar region. He holds an MD in Pulmonary Medicine from NTR University of Health Sciences (2012), where he was awarded the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance. He subsequently completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology — training that equipped him with the procedural expertise to perform advanced bronchoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures.

He serves as Associate Professor at Chalmeda Ananda Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS), Karimnagar, combining active academic teaching with full-time clinical practice. He has presented original research at multiple national and international pulmonology conferences, and his work spans clinical outcomes in TB, ILD, bronchoscopic interventions, and respiratory critical care.

With over 1,500 bronchoscopies and 500+ thoracoscopies performed, Dr. Korra has built an interventional pulmonology programme that was previously unavailable anywhere in Karimnagar. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his team managed critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilatory support, and received widespread recognition — from patients and peers alike — for their dedication and clinical outcomes during an extraordinarily difficult period.
